About the Designer
LaQuan Smith is a New York native who launched his eponymous label in 2013 at the age of 21. Self-taught and Queens-raised, Smith has become one of the defining American designers of his generation — his work has been worn by Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Serena Williams, and a roster of red-carpet women. The label’s signature is unapologetic glamour: sharp tailoring, statement silhouettes, and a refusal to be quiet. Production is in NYC, with each piece made in the atelier under Smith’s direct oversight.
