International designer sizing is its own language, and it is the single most common question we get. As a working guide: an Australian 6 generally corresponds to XS, US 2, Italian 38, French 34 and UK 6; an Australian 8 to S, US 4, Italian 40, French 36 and UK 8. Some houses on our rail — particularly the Italian and French labels — cut a further half-size small.

What does XS convert to in Australian sizing?
As a general rule, XS corresponds to an Australian 6, US 0–2, Italian 38, French 34 and UK 6 — though individual designers vary, and some European houses cut a further half-size small. Every listing states the size printed on the garment's own tag, and we can provide flat measurements on request.
Are these dresses brand new?
Yes. Every piece is brand new, unworn, and carries its original designer tags. We buy new pieces outright, which is how they can be priced up to 40% below original retail.
Why do you mostly stock small sizes?
We buy individual designer pieces rather than full size runs, and our buying deliberately favours the small end of the curve — the sizes that sell out first at full retail and are hardest to find on sale anywhere else.
Will you get more sizes in a style I like?
Almost never — most styles are stocked as a single piece in one or two sizes, and once sold they are not restocked. If the size is right and the piece is right, we recommend not waiting.
Do XS designer pieces suit petite heights?
Often, but "petite" in retail means proportions cut for shorter frames, while XS is a body-measurement size. Many of our XS pieces — minis, cropped tops, bodysuits — naturally suit petite heights, and listing measurements will tell you for certain. Ask us to measure a specific garment if you are between options.
Can I return a piece if the size is wrong?
Our returns process is set out on the shipping and returns page. Because most pieces are one-offs, we strongly encourage checking measurements with us before ordering — we would rather answer three questions than have you post a parcel back.
