Fabric & Care

Composition: Bonded textured fabric (Maticevski signature blend — polyester / elastane)

Care: Specialist dry clean only. Do not iron directly on the textured surface — steam from inside out. Store hung on a wide-shoulder hanger or laid flat to maintain structure.

Sizing

Maticevski uses Australian sizing (AU 10 = EU 38 / US 6 / UK 10). The Insecta Turtle Neck has a sculptural fit through bust and waist with a structured shoulder line. The bonded fabric holds shape independently of the body. Cropped length sits at natural waist (approximately 52cm / 20.5 inches).

About the Designer

Toni Maticevski is Australia’s premier avant-garde luxury house. Born in Macedonia and based in Melbourne, Maticevski founded his eponymous label in 1999 after graduating from RMIT. He treats fabric like clay — manipulating bonded crepes and techno meshes into gravity-defying silhouettes. The work is recognised internationally for sculptural shapes that challenge conventional notions of femininity. Each piece is made in the Melbourne atelier under Toni’s direct oversight; the complex structural elements require it.
